Sales Terms and Conditions
1. All Sales Final:
- All sales are final. Once the transaction is complete, refunds, returns, or exchanges are not permitted.
2. Artist Original:
- The artwork is an original piece by the artist. Any reproduction, alteration, or duplication without the artist's consent is prohibited.
3. Payment Terms:
- Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.
3.1 Financing
- A 50% deposit is required to secure the order.
- The remaining balance is due within 21 days of receipt of the invoice or at the time of pick-up, whichever is first.
- If payment is not received within the stipulated time frame, the gallery reserves the right to cancel the order and retain the deposit as a cancellation fee.
3.2 Payment Plans

Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is required at the time of order confirmation. This deposit secures your purchase and initiates the processing of your order.

Installment Payments: The remaining purchase price balance will be divided into six (6) equal monthly installments. Each installment is due on the same calendar day each month, starting from the date specified in the payment plan agreement.

Service Fee: A service fee of 2.3% of the total purchase will be applied to the outstanding balance and distributed equally across the six (6) monthly installments. This fee accounts for administrative costs associated with the payment plan.

Payment Methods: All payments, including the deposit and monthly installments, must be made via the accepted payment methods.

Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges of 5% of the overdue amount.

Default on Payment: Failure to adhere to the agreed payment schedule may result in the cancellation of the payment plan and forfeiture of any payments made, including the initial deposit, as liquidated damages.
4. Pick-Up and Shipping Options:
- The buyer is responsible for arranging pick-up of the artwork from the gallery location.
- The gallery can arrange for the shipment of the artwork at the buyer's expense. The buyer must pay the shipping fees before shipment.
- The gallery can also arrange drop-off within a 10-mile radius of 98104.
4.1 Liability for Shipping:
- The gallery is not responsible for loss or damage during transit.
- The buyer assumes all risks associated with shipping once the artwork has left the gallery's possession.
4.2 Support for Claims:
- In the event of loss or damage during shipping, the gallery will assist the buyer in filing claims with the shipping carrier. However, the gallery does not guarantee the outcome of such claims.
4.3 Inspection Upon Delivery:
- The buyer is responsible for inspecting the artwork immediately upon receipt and reporting any damages to the shipping carrier within the carrier's specified claim period.
5. Ownership and Release: Ownership of the artwork will be transferred to the buyer only after receiving full payment.
6. Resale: New Buyer Information
- SlipStitch Studio, Inc requests the full name, contact information, and relevant details about the new buyer (e.g., a private collector or institution).
- Please obtain consent from the new buyer before sharing their details in compliance with privacy laws.
- This will ensure the gallery's provenance records are updated to reflect the new owner.
